Lawrence Kelly has divided his time between the arts and education. He attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, SUNY at Oneonta, He was the General Manager of Steve McGraw's Cabaret Theater in New York, responsible for such hits as Forbidden Broadway, Forever Plaid and A Couple of Blaguards. After many years as an English and Drama teacher, he currently is a High School Supervisor for the Alternate Learning Center, a program for at-risk students in New York City. He lives with his wife on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. He has two grown daughters. He spends his summer vacation in Rockport, Massachusetts. My sincere gratitude to the following people who had both a tangible involvement and an inspirational connection to the creation of Out! The individuals know which camp they fall into. Without them, this play would never have happened. |
